RC Rock Crawler Car 40MHz 1/16 Scale 4WD Radio Control Car Hobby With LED. With a number of crawls under my belt with a new Vanquish VS 410 Pro kit, I feel this product is worth every penny of the asking price. Vanquish Products VS4-10 Chassis is made to provide you with a balance of scale looks and unhindered performance. Kit quality is exceptional, and the performance far surpasses what I had anticipated. Here is the build: - Vanquish VS 410 Pro - Brood Racing Slither - Hobbywing 1040 WP - Reefs 444 I absolutely love this truck. Well, I purchased a huge lot of parts for my brand new SCX10 honcho. The steel C-channel design provides scale detail, molded front and rear cross members fill the chassis rails in the highest stress locations for ultimate strength and provide features like dual servo mounts, winch line routing, and a fuel cell. RC4WD DC aluminum wheels, Pitbull 1.9 tires, Vanquish stage 1 kit and a bunch of other parts. by Craig RC Crawlers, RC Reviews, Vanquish Products Packed with features under a gorgeous body, the Vanquish VS4-10 Phoenix is an intriguing kit. The molded rock sliders come with a replaceable tapered outer portion that perfectly fits the Phoenix body. On paper, this looks to be an impressive RC crawler and an interesting trail truck, albeit with some drawbacks. The VS4-10 chassis is developed to work with the VFD Twin transmission to keep the overdrive and dig servo low on the platform. The panhard mount on the chassis is made from machined aluminum to withstand the impacts of severe trail conditions. Molded shock towers capture the top of the 80mm Incision S8E Shocks in double shear for maximum support. Narrow molded front and rear bumpers maximize clearances while improving approach and departure angles. The VS4-10 features Incision 80mm S8E shocks with larger 8mm bore aluminum threaded bodies, dual X-ring seals, locking preload collars, keyed spring cups, polished steel shock shafts, and machined pistons. The front 3-link with panhard suspension provides scale looks by keeping the servo out of sight, while still providing room for full suspension travel. ![]() It's definitely not for everyone. The suspension pivots on a full set of stainless steel links to keep the weight down low with a smooth transition from the link to the rod ends. This could easily be in the $3-4k range for a complete rig. If I were to build one of these, I'd want nice parts to complement the parts from the Ripper kit. SCX10 driveshafts (this truck has a wheelbase slightly longer than the standard 12.3in but most SCX10 compatible driveshafts should work without an issue)ĥ - Vanquish 1.9 wheels with 475 hubs (or 350 hubs if using the KMC XD Center Cap)ĥ - Tires and foams (max tire size of 4.75in, when using the maximum tire size you will experience some rubbing still)ĩ0mm scale style shocks (up to a 4in shock will work but larger bore shocks may have clearance issues with the rear sway bar) SCX10-2 axle internals (gears, shafts, lockers, hexes, etc) For the money you cant beat fusion se, its almost. You can gear up couple teeth on the pinion to match speed of the 2300kv motor but again, if you want a fast rc crawler is not the way to go. The VS4-10 is a crawler and the gears can be changed to be a little bit faster rig. SCX10-2 rear axle of either style (Currie RockJock or F9) Vanquish is about as good as it gets as far as Im concerned. ![]() ![]() Vanquish Products SCX10-2 F9 front axle with servo on axle mount SCX10 Bumper that bolts in between the frame rails (not to the outside) and is under 3.75in wideĪxial 3-gear transmission (complete with slipper and spur gear assembly) SCX10-2 RTR skid plate (or original SCX10 skid plate) What you need to complete a roller (not included): Now I will preface that these things are pretty badass, BUT shouldn't the product pictures actually show the things included? No point in showing 150 pics of the fully built rigs if I've yet to actually see a picture of the bare chassis, panels, and parts all laid out to see what actually makes up this kit.
